Product launches, reviews and interviews
A new product may suit an editorial review, category roundup, founder interview or a broader feature. The approach depends on newsworthiness, product availability and editorial timing. We plan the story and outreach around those requirements rather than promising a cover story in advance.
Earned coverage and paid placements are different
Journalists and publishers decide whether to cover a story and what to say. Earned editorial is not guaranteed. Sponsored placements, when part of the brief, are separately scoped and disclosed; they should never be represented as independent reviews.
Connect PR to the buyer journey
Relevant coverage can give buyers useful third-party context. Link approved coverage from the product or campaign page, prepare the team for enquiries, and coordinate social and email follow-up. Reuse publisher logos, quotes and content only with the appropriate rights.
Report relevance, not just volume
Track outreach, responses, published coverage and referral traffic alongside enquiries and brand-search signals. We distinguish verified coverage from estimated audience size and avoid presenting reach estimates as sales. Launch scope, markets, product samples and spokesperson availability shape the proposal.
